BID PROCEDURES

SCHEDULE LINES WILL BE POSTED NO LATER THAN MONDAY, OCTOBER 26,2026.

SCHEDULE LINES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AND NO SELECTIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED BEFORE MONDAY, NOVEMBER 2, 2026.

SELECTION MAY NOT BE MADE OR RECEIVED BY OTHER SPECIALISTS OR BY UN-OFFICIAL BID PROCESS.

Specialists will be required to make a 2027 schedule selection with Jeff Shepard during their assigned schedule selection window by one of the following methods: 

    1. Online at www.flightservicebid.com
    2. In person in Jeff Shepard’s Office  
    3. By calling (817) 541-3448 
  1. The watch schedule selection order will be based on seniority.
  2. Each specialist will be assigned a 10-minute bid window in which they will be responsible to submit a bid request online, bid in person or call a designated phone number.
  3. IAM Chief Steward or designee will observe the Watch Schedule Bid Process.
  4. Specialists may select earlier than their bid window, provided:
    1. Every specialist ahead of them has already selected a line; -OR-
    2. The specialist provides, in writing, a prioritized list of line selections, sufficient in number to account for the remaining specialists yet to bid (i.e. if there are still 6 people ahead of you, you MUST provide a list of 7 lines).
  5. Specialists may forfeit their assigned watch schedule bid window and select at a future time.
    1. It is the responsibility of the specialist forfeiting their bid window to contact the IAM Steward or Designee when they are ready to select.
    2. Any current selection window in progress will be completed before the specialist forfeiting will be allowed to select.
  6. An individual may cancel their bid selection and reselect provided:
    1. The time for their bid selection window has not expired -AND-
    2. The person below them has not selected.
  7. Specialists on Disability or Leave of Absence without an expected return to work date on or before Monday, October 26, 2026, will not select during the schedule bid process.
  8. Watch schedule bid handling of specialists selecting after the Watch Schedule Bid Process will be in accordance with Article VII Section 8 of the CBA.
